A musical tribute was recently launched at Auckland Museum honouring the 12 Tahitian women on the HMAV Bounty that settled in Pitcairn Island. Some six generations later, Jacqui Teio Chapman-Shone and her daughter Sonya have produced a CD, songbook and historical study honouring their tupuna vahine.
