In World War II many Pacific Island soldiers joined the famous 28th Maori Battalion. In 1997, Tagata Pasifika interviewed two World War II veterans – the late Jimmy O’Dwyer (Samoa) and the late Eric Henry (Cook Islands) – here are the stories of two Pacific heroes.
